Oh looky, American Green is having a Wild West event in June. $250 a pop unless you're a student. Here's what that $250 buys you:

• Friday evening happy hour ‘Meet and Greet’ & V.I.P. Gift Bag
• Continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday
• 7 lectures by well known leaders in their field, plus audience Q & A
• Saturday evening communal dinner
• Opportunities for social mingling with the speakers
• Free time for activities such as star gazing, a swim in the pond, Mojave Desert exploration

Sounds like a hoot, huh!

Nipton Activities Include (but not limited to):
o Star gazing
o Swim in the pond
o Explore the Mojave Desert and nearby historic sites
o Enjoy the high desert air from the porch of the historic Nipton Hotel or deck of the Whistle Stop Cafe

Oh man! You even get a discount on your room, which isn't included in the price. $100 - $130 a night for a teepee, but no AC! However, 20 miles from Nipton is Primm, you can stay at a casino hotel room for $85.

Let's hope this goes better than the paver program. $50 a pop and still no pavers 7 months later.
