My guess is that nobody wants to submit their bio-metric profile to some unheard of company just to use a vending machine. I know I never would, and I am willing to bet a majority of people never would. Just a little tweak to bypass the bio metric reader and you have a plain old vending machine. That bio metric machine is the dumbest idea ever. Complete over kill for a vending machine.
