just heard on the business channel that some are saying oil could hit $100.00 a barrel by early next year.

I think the game changer is diesel above the $3.50 mark. The higher diesel prices go the more truckers will realize just how stable NatGas prices have been and make the switch. With diesel at $3.50 a gallon and NatGas under 3 the savings is at least 30% less. Diesel at $4 makes it more than 45%.
Someone probably has the exact numbers. Mine are off the top of my head from memory.

ZEV's are not the answer as material cost, that being Lithium / fuel cells have went through the roof in the last 18 months. Many articles out their show the ZEV can be as much as 3 -5 times more expensive over NatGas. THE cost is continuing to go higher as we speak.

The bottom line, NatGas engines have been perfected to the point of almost / near zero emissions and they can be bought at a reasonable price point.
