Mentor Corporation To Commence Trading on The New York Stock Exchange

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 2003--Mentor Corporation MNTR today announced that Chris Conway, President and CEO, will ring the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange tomorrow. Following the ceremony, Mentor Corporation's common stock will begin trading at the NYSE under the ticker symbol "MNT."
