Options Investigation

KLA-Tencor started its options investigation a full month after Rambus announced its audit, yet KLA was able today to remove some uncertainty as to the financial impact of the options backdating at the company by disclosing the upper limit of its liability, even though the investigation is only "nearly completed."

Why can't Rambus do the same, Mr. Kennedy??

You have had four months to get the facts. Surprise the markets and make an announcement on Thursday about the financial impact of the options backdating at Rambus, if only a preliminary estimate on the upper limit.
