The primary completion date was 9/18 and considering it takes 90 days for each patient to be fully tested we are at the 90 days out point basically. So enrolling anymore patients into the study would pretty much get then past the September cutoff. Whether that is why the number of patients is 6 or not is debatable. Just because it’s been reduced from 10 to 6 patients can mean the tests were conclusive enough in either a good or bad way. Until the results are in there’s no way of knowing. I’m guessing it’s because they can’t get any more patients in before the September deadline to include them in the study. I have seen biotech firms give updates after 1 or 2 patients have gone through their study. We have not heard at all of any updates to how things have progressed. The only thing we can say for certain is no one has died. Which is always a good thing.
