I would never submit my bio metric profile to any company just to buy weed, beer, snacks, or anything else. This brings up big issues of privacy for me. As you all know the Golden State Killer was captured after police were able to match genetic material from DNA from a distant relative stored on the online site GEDmatch.com, which shows that once you submit your DNA to any of these companies like Ancestory, GEDmatch etc. You lose complete ownership of you DNA and your DNA can be sold to whoever. Seriously how did the police get a hold of that DNA? My guess is that it was sold to government agencies like the FBI and put into a database. Once you give up your DNA or bio-metric profile you have just given up your identity for good. From what I understand your bio metric profile has more accurate at identifying you than fingerprints. In my opinion only a fool would turn over his/her bio metric profile to a company simply so they can buy weed out of a vending machine. No thanks! I will gladly wait my turn in line.
