That sounds great.. 400 feet, detect a person (any person) , even some AI to know its a person not some litter blowing in the wind. I get that, and I can see it has uses.

My point was on the conversation its going into schools. I fail to see what real practical value it has beyond a remote camera. Point of presence to raise alarm i guess is one.

Im thinking things like every pupil carries a pass card. Anyone without such a card triggers an alert. The rule been, everyone on campus must carry the card at all times. Any intruder (even ex pupil) would not have access to one. At least not initially, giving the possibility that all intruders would be spotted, and early warnng given.
