Gavan Duemke is a Managing Partner of Carden Capital. Prior to joining Carden Capital, Gavan served as chief investment officer of a Colorado-based asset manager where he created systematic investment strategies, which achieved five star Morningstar ratings for superior risk adjusted returns. He has structured and executed over $25bn of derivatives transactions for many Fortune 500 corporations and financial institutions while managing a derivatives trading desk at Chatham Financial in London, UK. Additionally, Gavan teaches Trading in Commodity and Financial Markets as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado, Denver. As an undergraduate, Gavan attended the University of Cologne, Germany where he studied medicine and business administration. Gavan received an M.B.A. from the University of Oxford, UK with a finance emphasis.
