I thought this was interesting...so while going through my mail today, I opened up a check for $143.00 from Cottage Health Care System in Santa Barbara, CA. I had a physical done years ago and it turns out this was from a class action lawsuit for a data breach. I’ve received information about this over the years but never expected to receive a check and especially not a check for a significant amount.
