Zacks SCR is paid by companies for their "research reports." See the disclaimer tab on their website at http://scr.zacks.com/Disclaimer/default.aspx
Here is an excerpt:
"Each issuer has entered into an agreement with Zacks to provide continuous independent research for a period of no less than one year in consideration of quarterly payments totaling a maximum fee of $30,000 annually."
At the end of all of their "research reports" there is also a disclaimer in the small print where some of them now say they are paid up to $50,000 per year. They drop coverage of companies without any notice when the companies stop paying them. So keep that in mind when Brian Marckx from Zacks asks a question. Is he really impartial and independent when his company is paid money to produce his reports?
