Why would Lewis make such a deal? As has already been written here, this is a junk bond worse than what Michael Milken was selling back in the good old days. I would suspect that most juice loans might not ask that much in this low-interest economy.
The boys at Calmare must be in heaven having kicked the can down the road and hoping they can find a country that will not extradite them back to the US when they default on this deal, as well. They can barely pay for electricity and phones, let alone pay the interest or any principal on this deal.
Is Lewis concerned that the Yarbro effort is dead and that he too will be in a position to wallpaper his bathroom, kitchen, and garage with Calmare shares - assuming, of course, that he does not have them put on rolls and perforated at strategic intervals to use each and every one of those locations?
