My fellow IPIX shareholders,

As we await the unblinding of the Prurisol clinical trial, I am very pleased to inform everyone that we have taken the next step in development of our Brilacidin franchise by contracting the specialty chemical experts at Evonik. As measured by our interaction with pharmaceutical companies here and abroad, we believe that there is momentum building behind Brilacidin, particularly on the strength of our latest results in the Phase 2 trial for oral mucositis in head and neck cancer patients receiving chemoradiation. The conversations with companies, as well as with radiation oncologists and others close to patients, reinforce our conviction that the market for oral mucositis is many times our market capitalization. We’re thrilled to be working with Evonik to move Brilacidin forward as expeditiously as possible.
