I think as part of the joint development agreements with GE - maybe in payment for using their facilities - GE ended up with rights to the technology / algorithms / etc. GE no longer needed Sigma and sent them on their way. If it was pretty cut-and-dried or open to legal interpretation - we'll see. I wouldn't want to battle GE's legal team. Now they get the nod to improve on what exists, which must not be meeting requirements.

After GE kicked Sigma out (after America Makes), I don't assume GE has been sitting around the past many months like Sigma has. GE has access to the best, we have MC and our publicly funded business startup strip mall facility and a temporary CEO trying to sell the company.

Has anybody been there lately? Are the lights still on? I'm guessing GE is light years ahead of Sigma by now, but let's assume they are about equal to be charitable to our beloved Sigma Labs. With this "win" by GE's scientists, they will skyrocket in the AM technology and leave us in a pile of dull ash collecting in the corners of the OTC for the rest of eternity. All while the Colas and generations enjoy the wealth gained from us during this failed experiment. Was Sigma Labs even considered for this award? Apparently not. We're no longer relevant.

That's one scenario anyway.

Sigma Labs.
