IMO we are seeing naked shorting for the last few days. This is a tactic used by MMs to convince shareholders to sell at or close to their buy to prevent losses. When the company has real assets and is in the turnaround process it becomes a nice big target. Eventually what will happen is longs will simply ride it out and wait for new capital to come in. Generally this occurs after Mms drive PPS as low as possible (by naked shorting) then when news is about to hit they will start buying and turn a downtrend into an uptrend. If you do the math over the last several weeks the volume of shares traded is very high relative to the total authorized shares. In fact its way to high from a demand side to have kept the pricing down without naked shorting.

The MMs naked short with impunity and unlike those who actually cover there are some that do not cover. Its not at all a level playing field.

I personally hold and wait for forward P/E to drive the stock since this is much harder to be ignored or naked shorted.
