Hahaha! I had to laugh. I was out in the garden today and thought about starting the post off in a different way. Something like this.......

It was a warm, breezy, mid-spring day. The air was filled with the tantalizing scent of freshly bloomed lilacs. My mind was adrift with the sound of happily splashing trout, in a cool mountain stream. How we doing so far? Are you feeling it yet? Then reality came crashing upon my serene soul in the form of a biting mosquito. Between the bugs and the perspiration, I'm ready for winter. Oh yeah, that rash on my neck and forearm? It's a direct derivative of urushiol.

When I was very young, 2d gradeish, I thought I wanted to be a writer. I actually wrote a book then. It was totally stupid, lol. I realized that in order to be an author?
