I have a feeling this could turn into a serious flame war. Indigenous will claim they have been colonized by being lied to and taken advantage.

Others will claim: too bad, assimilate or live on the fringes of modern society.

Who knows who’s right, but the point is this could be a blocker for the legislation. Libs need to figure out how to resolve this quickly.

It’ll probably come in the form of extra payments (rev share :-p) to indigenous communities.
