It is the very definition of toxic debt.

Northbridge Financial Inc bought debt owed to offshore tech companies then agreed to be paid off for those debts through discounted free trading stock.

These debts acquired by Northbridge aren't being paid back in cash. They are being paid back in discounted free trading stock.

That is the exact definition of toxic debt!
