been there, done that....well living in an RV by the beach in California anyways....but it is a pain in the butt, cops keeping pushing you along....in many parts of California it is illegal to sleep outside or in your automobile....the key is to park out in places no one would expect - not the park and ride

was at Coronado beach for a while before they caught on....we would burn wood pallets right there on the beach, big fires, easy to score buds...spend the days in Tijuana - those were the days!! I had my wife smuggle some stuff up from Tijuana, and we are waiting in line to get to border patrol USA, and I say to her "If I don't see you again, I want you to know I love you' just as we are about to be inspected, she was so scared, that was fun

illegal to sleep, man I remember getting all worked up about that, I mean I wasn't some bum on a park bench, I was in a van at a park and ride - them phuckers!
