shorting a stock should be against the law.We should petition congress to out law the practice with mandatory jail sentences, and huge fines. I have said this for years, but doubt anything like this will happen, even though it is a moral imperative, but we live in an incredibly immoral country. The wealthy, and greedy, immoral hedge funds manipulate stocks that often devastate the retail investor who can least afford to loose, to say nothing of destroying promising biotechs with perhaps life saving drugs in early development. I really wish that congress would consider it.....what a change that would be for the markets!!
