Thanz frat -

Actually, I already use the non-ftp site. My question of spiras was generated for one reason: up till now, I had been unaware that the production records were available on an FTP site. And, by the way, I'd already figured out that Petro is Skip's little company.

I've let out a few clues to my family being in oil & gas. We are. But, thru a convoluted tale that I'm not interested in wasting everybody's time about, it just so happens that our specialty as a service provider in the oil & gas arena was the property tax end of the business. What I did, starting in 1980, was create the first comprehensive property description database system for managing the property (producing, non-producing, pipelines, undivided minerals, trucking fleets... you name it) in this type of service industry. We represented a bunch of the larger bank oil & gas trust departments and I had to figure out a codification system to handle hundreds of thousands of properties. If anybody is interested, I wrote it in a 3D database system called Pick (although most of my more modern work was in VB/VBA on Microsoft products.)

Back to the matter of coming to a better understanding of BIGN (the purpose off this board), I had dug up the fact that Royalle was not the operator out there in Grimes and I have put together a partial list of the properties Skip is currently reworking and apparently plans to rework. And what I have on the back burner is feedback from some of our sources on every property Skip's little company has leased up. Unfortunately, because California issues appraisals to the operator only, I don't have access like I do in some states to the division orders themselves. In California, the operator allocates the proportional amounts to the interest owning entities on any lease. In Texas, for example, it is not uncommon for the tax rolls to include every royalty owner on a well. So, the difference in California makes it hard to determine quickly who the other players are on the new leases Skip has negotiated (or is negotiating). But, I already know the names of the wells the Skip has gotten changed. My plan was to look at it if and when I had more on the list because the matter is only material to me as a shareholder on BIGN if Skip and BIGN continue to do deals out there. Then it becomes relevant and then I will see a reason to bother forming it up into a readable post for everybody to see.

Anyway, the name changing that is going on is why its hard to correlate the wells on the official California site and the PRs. Also, different forms have to be filed if a well is P&A (plugged & abandoned) for more than 15 years than for less than 15 years. I've got a whole list of the forms and rules and regulations that are in play in California. Skip is logically getting the names changed as he goes and every time he does, it is given a new API and so on. And, again, this is only relevant to the extent Skip & BIGN continue to do deals out there.

The reason I've back-burnered this investigative project is that I am unconvinced that BIGN is all that closely involved in the future plans of Skip's little company. And futr convinced me that I was wrong about Hydroslotter being 50% owned by BIGN. So, since BIGN only participates with a 50% income stream on projects it is doing with Hydroslotter, I'd back-burnered the investigation until it was clear whether it mattered any longer that Skip was doing in Grimes.

Anyway, the thing I was trying to get from spiras was the ftp server address. If you take a gander at the screenshot he posted of the non-Hebrew page he put together, you will notice it displayes a link that is an ftp address an apposed to an address beginning with http and so on. Since his screenshot truncated the entire ftp line (hence making it unusable) what I was seeking was a separate post with the exact ftp address.

Thanx for the http address. I already use it, though.

Thanx & GLTY
