In November 2016 CEO, Darnell Sutton received a GOP appointment to produce events surrounding the inauguration of the 58th President of the United States of America.

President Darnell Sutton stated, “In addition to producing our own music and feature properties, our plan is to realize the valuable rights we hold in music, film, television, video and software game libraries and in providing exciting live event specials, music, radio, TV and movie entertainment. Moreover, HWAL is nearing completion of its robust digital network platform and database to support the media and entertainment industries that will revolutionize the property licensing process. In addition to producing our own music and feature properties, our plan is to realize the valuable rights we hold in music, film, television, video and software game libraries. We will provide exciting live event specials, to include “Soul of America"- a live event and televised special from the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), music, radio, TV and movie entertainment.

2017

During the Week of the Inauguration of the 58th President of the United States of America, Darnell Sutton attended various pre-inauguration events surrounding the production of “Soul of America”.

Mr. Sutton met and toured the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) with its Director, Mr. Lonnie Bunch.

Darnell Sutton participated in the Winter 2017 Conference of Mayors at the Capital Hilton and St Regis Hotel in Washington DC January 17-19, establishing a strong working relationship with the US Conference of Mayors and its executive management team.

Mr. Sutton Co-produced the 2017 Black Tie & Chic Gala Presented by Insight America Celebrating The 58th
Presidential Inauguration- A Salute to Republican African American Leaders at the Watergate Hotel on January 18, 2017. The Master and Mistress of Ceremonies was Armstrong Williams & Angela Sailor. The evening honorees include Secretary of HUD, Ben Carson, and Chairman of the National Black Republican Council, Fred Brown.
