Thanks Man people have spent their whole life looking for that mine portal

They spend each and every summer vacation camping and prospecting there.

Even if they never find what their looking for they always come back with rich finds.

The area is so good that every pan has color no matter where you go, even the dirt road carries color.

Over the years thousands of prospectors have found small rich gold veins and pockets, with stories of enough to go and chip out enough to buy a new truck every year.

Others try their luck with small scale hard rock blasting & mining. They follow the many silver deposits.

Then some prospectors team up on weekends, Bringing out a back hoe
digging the bedrock and putting it on large tarps . they work their tails off and bring home the choice ore to be processed at their leisure
at home during the week after working their normal jobs. They first reduce it by panning most of the sluff off then they use spiral concentrator. Like this one seen here. Fun Fun Fun

and some go strictly for Black sand, They scour anywhere water many drain, especially around trees and bushes. It's all metal pan work.
The use huge metal pans and field dress the dirt out of the black. They sell the black sand in bulk. the black sand there carries a high gold recovery. which makes it worth going for it.

The area and this lost mine treasure is on the minds of all these prospectors year round.
