L2R,

Being retired, I paid no taxes last year and received no refundable credits on my 2017 return. Zero tax paid, and zero tax cut for me. I suppose I should be pissed at all those damn taxpaying workers who got a cut. Who do they think they are?



Can't understand how you paid zero taxes unless the only income you have is SS.

I live in Il. and pay no state income tax on my pension but do pay federal taxes on pension.
