To be frank, I guess you and I are just going to have to agree to disagree.

Before I go any further, though, I don't consider you are one of the bullies, by the way.

That having been said, there are bullies on this board. Averybody on the board knows it and all the visitors can tell it too. And thats one aspect of why its wrong. And I do not think that the fact that some of the bullies have been posting for so long gives them superior rights. As far as I can tell, some of them seem to have hidden agendas themselves. The fact that they have all become such chummy pals is irrelevent, just as it is irrelevant whether someone has been posting for a long time. A person with a hidden agenda who has been getting away with it for a long time is no better than someone with a hidden agenda who has not. So what.... the perception of the board and its credibility are damaged in both cases.

Long term posters could be holy men from Tibet for all I care. They still don't have the right to viciously attack people with a differing view or with information that runs counter to their hidden agenda. The length of time someone has posted to this or any other board has absolutely nothing to do with the incivility that has been all too predominant on this board. It should be voluntarily stopped, it should not be defended, and it should not rear its ugly head again. Everyone on this board deserves equal rights regardless of how long they have posted here.

So, in the spirit that ought to be that with which this board is saturated, I suppose you and I are simply going to have to agree to disagree. Longevity has nothing to do with it, despite the fact that you are one of the ones who has that longevity. People should be treated with civility whether this is their first post or their 9,000th post.
