Some responsibility, albeit all relative, goes to the FDA.
Essentially, by its cryptic and obtuse communications, its massive delays and its bureaucratic quagmires, destroyed a nascent company whose essence, not its governance, was honest.
In so doing, the FDA went counter to current American economic welfare, and most importantly to the health and welfare of all people faced with new, potentially deadly viral and bacterial pathogens.
In short, it failed the American public.
