Not specifically directed at you, but your insight here has been valuable to me..
Hypothetically speaking, would there be an advantage for the company (given available cash on hand) to buy back these shares and restrict them or would it not matter if the company is potentially seeking a BO anyway??

My background is medical not finance, so please excuse the question if it seems elementary.
