Indian cement sector eyes Gulf
India's cement industry is hoping to tap into the real estate boom taking place in the Gulf region by offering affordable, good quality products, reported the Khaleej Times. As a whole, India can produce 165 mtpa of cement, of which more than 10m tonnes are sold as exports. Several parts of the Gulf region, such as Qatar, have had problems with limited cement supplies recently.
