I think that's the entire point with these airline engine accidents. We need to move away from the old way of manufacuring airplane parts. These tests they run still are not stopping fatal accidents.

Eventually, it will be nice when much of the engine is 3d printed and software like PRINTRITE 3D can qualify a part in a better/cost saving way.
It should have a drastic effect on future safety.
