This move was calculated well in advance.

Marshall waited for the company to be virtually broke and before they had access to funds which could be used to fight this move.

Without funds to fight this in any meaningful way, the company is at the mercy of Marshall.

If the company can't find funds to fight Marshall then he walks off with everything.

Then there is the other side of the coin.

Based on their background I don't think our management is particularly trustworthy.

From here forward nothing would surprise me.
