You need money, and Garrett needs a sparring partner for the involvement he has in the company. I. e you could have suggested deals which would not create uncertainty regarding dillution. Would not happen with you involved.

He could also opt you into the company as his advisor.

He has the money and the # shares, so it's a small investment for a big gain.

What on earth is keeping you two apart???
