I had asked about Nyloxin being removed from the GSA website and this was his response:
"Nyloxin had been accepted on the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) and added to the GSA website. While we were preparing our press releases, we were informed from “higher up” at the VA that Nyloxin was being removed from the FSS because it was a “homeopathic drug” and never should have been listed in the first place. A few days later, it was removed from the GSA website.
We are diligently fighting this decision and believe that it’s a travesty. Nyloxin has already gotten hundreds of Vets off of dangerous, opioid drugs. These products belong on the FSS to be readily available to the VA.
Regardless, we are moving forward with working with the VA to conduct “off contract” sales. This allows the individual hospital groups to purchase product from us even though we are not on the FSS. We’ve already negotiated for the first orders. We will still endeavor to get added to the FSS and have been working with several congressman and other governmental consultants to get this done.
Once any of this is successful, we will make the appropriate announcements. Stay posted on our press releases.
Best regards,
Rik"
