I reached out to Jeff Freiberger again, late this morning. Here is his response to my question of how things are progressing and whether www.vangohtv.com is an affiliate site.

Finalizing things with regulators now. Vangoh TV is not an affiliate program. We do have a private labeler called Set TV that licenses the content so far and is currently in the market. The 2 companies are non related though they both use our partners same platform. If you download the Set TV app you'll see that the server account is actually registered to Vangoh. Vangoh TV's newer platform will have distinct differences and upload platforms as well as features yet to be done with streaming apps all while blockchaining our platform to eliminate your cable bill all together. Our private labelers are limited to channels and on demand alone. Vangoh will offer many extra features which is why we are slightly higher in price.
