The best case scenario is that they file their financials a few weeks late, and then life goes on.

The worst case scenario is that they go dark, and never file any financials ever again.

In that case, the company fans will still claim that the company is doing well, up until the time the SEC revokes the stock registration, after about 3 years of inactivity and unresponsiveness.
