The problem I see with the theory around the sabotage of bavituximab to keep it off the market is that it would have required collusion and cooperation among the major BPs which does not reflect the reality of their fierce competition.

The other issue for me around holding onto the belief that bavi was some kind of golden egg that would have yielded great riches if only it was allowed to hatch without BP suppression is that it takes me off the hook for my investment decision. While I believe it is certainly possible that Bavi can play a role in an immuno therapy cocktail to defeat cancer and also that there has and continues to be "questionable" activity by the "guardians" of the IP, I have now come to terms with and accepted responsibility for my poor investment decision. I used to find posters like Vin annoying and was waiting for the day when Bavi would achieve commercial success so we could all laugh at the silly PPHM as a scam posts. I now appreciate the painful dose of reality that some of these posters were and are trying to bring to the discussion.

I stick around in the hopes that Avid can help regain some of my six figure losses but am not blind to the possibility that we have again been played (and this time by smarter and more professional individuals). I am prepared for whatever might come and only hope that Karma eventually catches up with those who have perpetrated the scam while profiting handsomely at shareholders' expense.
