If we are keeping it real and holding folks to the facts, then let's stop repeating the falsehood that QMC is the only QD company with automation IP. It is unquestionably wrong. Pumps, valves, motors, heaters, etc., have been computer controlled for four decades. The IEEE Spectrum article in Mar '15 says that at Nanosys "a computer controls the process according to a programmed 'recipe;'" and we have actually seen pictures of control screens in multiple articles about the company. Additionally, there are numerous LinkedIn profiles from current and past employees at Nanosys, Nanoco, Dow, Merck, etc., with automation accomplishments and/or responsibilities.
It appears that there has been a conflation of continuous-flow synthesis with process automation. They are different.
