Yesterday a friend...Rita Stevenson Sexton...posted a awesome post and i replied to it...so this morning i want to use them as my thought for the day....
Rita Stevenson Sexton:...So you're heading to work today - " working hard for the money " -- you know at the end of the week you'll get paid... Now, another thought -- if at the end of this week you get paid by God for the amount of time you've spent with Him... what would your check look like ... In reality - We do get payment -- but not so much in the form of $ although it can be if needed - but often in scriptural education, a closer walk and spiritual insight -- nothing can top those payment blessings.. AND in the end the Bank that holds those payments will last forever -- there will never be an over draw or under deposit
Rick J Sane:...AMEN Rita Stevenson Sexton!....we serve God...not because we have to...we want to...we have a desire to...and NOT that we do it for this reason...but how awesome it is when we allow Jesus to work thru us...to bless others thru us...how we so awesomely get blessed in return! Folks often seem to forget...there is going to be positions in heaven...NOT social status as here on earth but there is going to be social status...different levels...if you will...in our position in heaven....based on our walk...our relationship with Jesus...our service to Jesus and others....thats what storing treasures in heaven is all about! NOW...we are not going to be looking down our nose at those under..or below us...so to speak...in that status... as happens here on earth...we are talking heaven here...but.....im going to spend eternity there...FOREVER....i want the best of the best. Look folks...heaven...all of heaven...is going to be great and grand...but folks reach for that brass ring all there lives here on earth for the short time we have here and completely forget about whats coming in heaven...and again....i want the best....im pretty sure im not going to be in the same class...so to speak... as Moses..Noah...Paul...Billy Graham...but im striving for perfection so when i...a joint heir to the throne of God...get my reward...i get the best i can...because again...that is forever!
