April 19--Geez, when will this wind give it up? It was even worse today. The gusts probably exceeded 30 mph. I gave up watering the beds in the afternoon. I'll resume in the morning.
I went to Lowe's as planned and headed back to the East/West Blvd station with the following:
A female hose repair kit One packet each, Clemson 80 okra, Kentucky Wonder pole bean, National Pickling cucumber, Sumter cucumber, Moon & Stars watermelon, Sugar Baby watermelon Two Red Beefsteak heirloom tomato plants Two Super Sweet 100 cherry tomato plants One Sungold cherry tomato plant
I went to Wal Mart as well for another bag of potting soil.
I planted cuke seeds--five in a group--Miniature White, and the National Pickling and Sumter varieties. I will resume tomorrow.
I placed an order with Select Seeds for a Major Wheeler coral honeysuckle vine. It should arrive by the end of the week.
I set out the tomato plants, despite the wind. They'll make it. They've been outside at Lowe's so they're hardened.
The Nasdaq's third tier, the AMEX can be just as bad, and last but not least, the OTC, it seems, are financial venues that reward failure.
