The big issue I have with this article is two fold.

1) cost of power fluctuation big time per state, county and company.

2) mining is a mine and hold business and you only loose (like anything) if you sell when the coins mined are lower than the cost of mining it. Every miner that holds 100% his coins are loosing money everyday because of the INVESTMENT to mine. But the big payout is when they sell for a high rate of return.
