Federal judges are appointed for life for an obvious reason so that they won't be influenced by public pressure/sentiment such as a "more favorable environment." (Look, Mayer give a damn about what everyone thinks about Alice/101, he just interpret Alice/101 his own way of thinking).

Will the "more favorable environment" change Mayer's way of thinking on Alice/101? Hell no! It would take an act congress, or a new SCOTUS decree for this to happen.

101 was recently brought up as a potential policy change at USPTO, and such policy change does not change the law on 101, and therefore would have no influence on judges decision making regarding the application of the law.

I have yet seen a new legislation, potential legislation, recent court decision, or a recent SCOTUS' decree on the current legal landscape that could have an indirect/direct impact on current Worlds' litigation.
