So geocappy, you believe some BP entity somehow backed Oncologie and spent $8M to put a disruptive technology, with much greater value than $8M, on the shelf, just to protect their current way of doing business?

I don't think any BP is that dumb. If the IP had "known" significantly more value, why wouldn't BP buy it themselves for the same deal, exploit the IP and reap the profits?

Please help me understand.
