Technically that is correct, the potential changes will not reverse prior rulings. But there is such a thing as legal doctrine, and should there be a noticeable shift towards patent holder rights, this could be reflected in the rulings still to occur with WDDD. I am not saying this will definitely occur, or even if this shift is significant enough, but I don't entirely agree that a more favorable environment for patent holders will "not be helpful" to WDDD.
