My Ameritrade experience noting the babble was not intended to help anyone. This is my experience since the Scottrade integration. It is another episode in the continuing saga:
NOTE: I was the first to Post about inability to buy GERS within Ameritrade. Others jumped in with their experiences and workarounds. I was led to believe that a Buy for GERS would be executed. When the Buy was denied; then I posted my experience. No need for detail.

By the way your speculation, Post 46433, regarding why Ameritrade does will not execute a Buy has absolutely no value.
