April 18--Wind, wind, and more wind. It's been like this for a week. I water the beds constantly.
I planted 4 tomato starts, including 2 Brandywine, bringing the total to 6. There are 10 empty boxes. Four will get the remaining Brandywine starts.
I went to Wal Mart for potting soil and used it all in planting flower and veggie seeds. Tomorrow I go to Lowe's for five tomato plants, seeds, and a connect for a water hose.
The asparagus bed is slowing down. I picked 3 spears and ate them raw this afternoon.
I reserved a truck for Saturday. I will make two manure trips.
