The following PDF file is the "TSA Air Cargo Screening Technology List (ACSTL)" DATED FEBRUARY 8TH,2018

There's is a lot of information within this PDF but I'm focusing primarily on ETD devices(EXPLOSIVE TRACE DETECTION),which is what 1St Detects ETD device is currently undergoing tests for "THE ACSQT" AIR CARGO SCREENING QUALIFICATOION TEST"

3 Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) Devices

Technology Description: Desktop or handheld devices which detect explosive residual material on typical cargo substrates through the application and analysis of a swab based collection process.

Refer to Appendix A, TSA’s Trace Consumables List (TCL) for the TSA-recommended third-party ETD Trace Consumables vendors.

3.1 Qualified ETD Technology

There are currently no systems in the ETD Qualified Technology section.

Notes:
(1) Specification of “Wand” indicates a wand is required to operate the device while specification of “No Wand” indicates a wand must not be used to operate the device.

So I went to the APPENDIX A and found there are "3RD PARTY VENDORS" there are 5 companies listed there and the pages to the end of the PDF list devices and parts of devices but,the fact that on page 15 there are no vendors listed is telling me that once TSA approves 1st Detects ETD (Explosives Trace Detection device) that would put 1st Detect in the number 1 slot on page 15

Anyone interested or has the time can check what I am talking about and opinions on what this might mean overall would be welcome .... because there are 3rd party vendors ,but doesn't appear to be anything with the capabilities (especially the wand capabilities of 1st detect) and there TRACER 1000

BTW in case people don't know it 1st DETECT has and is working on developing at least 14 different detection products .... look on their website under "PRODUCTS"
