I am about as content with the delay as you are. As to reasons for delay let me start by saying that my experience is from environment were we could most of the time attack problems by throwing more manpower and money at it. Leo is not in that situation.

plausible or less plausible (depends on your point of view):
1. CRO has assigned minimal staff for the project. I would not put past Leo trying to get analysis things done on the cheap.
2. CRO may have run into bad bookkeeping/practises on some trial sites. That has happened before even with bigger players and is a hellish thing to resolve.
3. An interested party has asked additional, non-protocol stuff to be included in the trial report. Leo would not be in liberty to divulge that.

less plausible or plausible depending, again, on the viewpoint:
4. CRO can't believe the results they are getting - either way better or worse than expected, and is double checking everything. Done that, been there.
5. CRO is demanding payment before releasing results (Heh heH) and Leo is scrambling for money.

Honestly. I don't know and don't like not knowing. I have stated earlier that by mid April I will be getting anxious. 2 weeks more and I will bounce agrily off the walls.
