Deep water drilling is not more attractive. Huge gains in technology in the shale oil fields will again add to an oil glut just as it did before. They can now run something like 12 different wells off of one pad with directional drilling. This has dropped the cost of drilling.

Big oil isnt clamoring for deep water oil in marginal fields. Marginal doesnt make it anymore. Plus they certainly arent looking to do business with ERHE.
