Pretty close. Coin is a term. Coin represents value of mined storage units. Coin is also like a share of stock.

Some companies have coins but no mining is taking place to generate storage. In this case it is like a share of stock.

POTN crypto mentioned in pr is mining and accumulating other coins to generate revenue.
