Organic and non-GMO Agricultural Input

To shareholders of GroGenesis and interested investors:

Please find attached a short, unedited video of a field test on rice just competed last week in Myanmar. There is audio that is translated identifying that the larger, healthy rice plant had AgraBurstPRO applied with140 rice ears (kernels)perplant vs. 92 ears per plants for the control group. GroGenesis' distributor is in the process of compiling all the data and will be submitting a comprehensive report on the test results in the next two weeks.

Market Opportunity for GroGenesis and its Myanmar Partner

Myanmar is the world’s seventh largest rice-producing country. Rice is the country’s most important crop and is grown on over 8 million hectares (one hectare equals 2.47 acres) or more than half of its arable land. The agricultural sector accounts for nearly one-half of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) and provides employment for approximately two-thirds of the labor force.

Country Annual Production (1000 metric tons)
February 2016
1 China 144,560
2 India 104,800
3 Indonesia 35,560
4 Bangladesh 34,500
5 Vietnam 28,234
6 Thailand 18,750
7 Myanmar 12,600
8 Philippines 11,915
9 Brazil 8,465
10 Japan 7,842 Source : https://apps.fas.usda.gov/

Myanmar is ranked seventh in rice production. Rice is the country’s most important crop and is cultivated on over 8 million hectares(1 hectare equals 2.47 acres)--or more than half of its arable land. The agricultural sector accounts for nearly one-half of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) and provides employment for approximately two-thirds of the labor force.

Myanmar is ripe for yield improvement in rice. A recent study conducted by the World Bank found that agricultural productivity in Myanmar is low relative to its SE Asian neighbors. For example, to harvest rice, one day of work generates only 23 kilogram (kg) of paddy in Myanmar, compared to 62 kg in Cambodia, 429 kg in Vietnam, and 547 kg in Thailand. (1 Kilogram (kg) = 2.2 lbs.)

Update on GroGenesis and Bangladesh

Separately, GroGenesis' distributor (JAK International) in Bangladesh is awaiting the required registration of AgraBurstPRO for sale in that country. Ranked fourth in rice production, the Bangladesh rice industry holds great promise for AgraBurstPRO. As previously announced, university conducted field tests on rice in Bangladesh with yield increases as high as 40% recorded. GroGenesis and JAK International anticipates product registration in the near future.
