Just because they said they would not be making an announcements til mid May doesn't rule out news before that date. If they ink a merger deal this weekend or decide to review the results of the failed trial they will have to release that news.

Bottom line.....if they company has significant news regarding the company, they MUST release that news to the shareholders within 10 days.
